Default Grinding

Alright replaced the front brakes and rotors seems to have done this on both sets of rotors First thing when cold in the morning the first few times i come to a stop there is a grinding felt and heard but after a few stops it quits doing this.

Any ideas what it could be?

Thanks

Jared.

What type of pad did you use? Some harder pads do this when they are cold.

Yah mine do a similar thing but only make a squeak the first two stops, after that they are fine. It could be the surface rust that accumulates on the unprotected rotors quickly also. Depending on the rotors some get alot quick some get only a little rust.

How long have you driven on them? Did you do any "bedding in" of the pads to the rotors?
