Hey do you put any kind of gasket/the tape stuff/?locktite? on the oil line connections that are screwed/bolted into radiatior/block?
Rear diff cover, which is better using a hard gasket or liquid type?

I don't put anything on the oil lines for fear of things accidentally ending up inside my motor even tho they make products specifically for this purpose. I've never had any issues with leaks just have to make sure things are tight. As for the axle I used gasket maker just because I have recently been taking my diff cover off allot so I don't want to ruin a conventional gasket lol. I will be installing "lube locker" gaskets when I install my new diff covers after my gear break ins but I'm not sure they make them fit the 7.5 axle.

Ah is that what the blazers rear is, a 7.5, wonder if the exploders 8.8 will bolt up easily. I hear those are slightly better then the Dana 44's, but find one thats not C-clipped.
Thanks for your input, makes sense not to put anything on the oil line threads.
