Default Hard initial start then starts and runs good

Hi hoping for help.. 96 Blazer I do not have a fuel pressure tester so i took this to a shop i use. This just seems a little unusual because after i get it to start it then starts fine for up to 4 hours or more. Runs good no drive ability problems or codes.. Shop has it sitting with gage connected to see what the pressure is after the weekend. Wondering if it is fuel pressure or something else. I would like to correctly diagnose before replacing the fuel injectors which the shop feels is what is wrong.
Any thoughts are appreciated. Fuel or something else that should be tested ?

Thank you

I had that same issue. Upgraded injectors cured it.

The two main tests that would confirm injector problems are not holding fuel pressure per the sticky or failing the injector balance test with a pulse tool.

Just to update members following this post. May have been caused by a small leak in the fuel line from the filter to tank. Will update later whether replacing the rusted line resolved the hard start problem.

You're lucky. That line is around 65PSI.

Question Puzzled

My Blazer is a 2001. When I go to start it, it spins like maybe it's not getting fuel. After a few tries if will crank up and it runs fine. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to solve this issue please?

Best place to start is with a fuel pressure test. See this:
