Hard initial start then starts and runs good
Hi hoping for help.. 96 Blazer I do not have a fuel pressure tester so i took this to a shop i use. This just seems a little unusual because after i get it to start it then starts fine for up to 4 hours or more. Runs good no drive ability problems or codes.. Shop has it sitting with gage connected to see what the pressure is after the weekend. Wondering if it is fuel pressure or something else. I would like to correctly diagnose before replacing the fuel injectors which the shop feels is what is wrong.
Any thoughts are appreciated. Fuel or something else that should be tested ?

Just to update members following this post. May have been caused by a small leak in the fuel line from the filter to tank. Will update later whether replacing the rusted line resolved the hard start problem.
Best place to start is with a fuel pressure test. See this:
