Question Crank an. Crank vapor lock crank n start

I am a bit puzzled new dizzy, cap, an rotor started getting cold started having more problems starting thinking it needs a new battery as of right now anything else I should look into be for a new battery ?

Whenever I replace a blazer battery I get a 78 series because they are the largest that will fit the battery tray and have more power. I also search around for a dual post with both side and top terminal. makes jumping to or from a lot easier.
Last 2 I bought were this one. Made a huge difference in how my plow truck recovers from a lot of lifting and turning the plow:

The proper way to test a battery is a load test. You do a full charge, bleed off the surface charge with a short headlight cycle then load the battery to spec and see what the voltage is. Most battery shops can do this for you or you can buy a load tester which is either a carbon pile resistor or wire coil pack in a metal box with a meter and jumper cables.

I got one of those metal box battery load testers with the coil from O'Reilly Auto for $45...Had to use it on 3 different cars the first month I had it. Works pretty well.
