Ok Well i have some more issues with my truck, seems to never fail that i fix one problem and arise yet another one...

Here is the specs:

96 Blazer S-10, 4.3L CMEFI

I just replaced the intake gasket and had a mechanic time it for me for real cheap! I got it back home and noticed that when i start it, it will struggle to start and drain the battery doingit! I put a timing light on it since i though the mechanic messed it up but it was dead on.

I went though the entire wiring harness that i messed with to replace the intake gasket and everything is in order, all were attached. Also i did not mess with the fuel injection stuff ontop of the intake besides moving the feed and return lines and i made sure that the O-rings and anything else were back on.

After a few tries i get lucky and it will start, so that is the prime time to let it run for a while so i at least have something left for juice to get it started to get it to the store so i can but whatever i need.

Any ideas or a giant bulldozer to run my little green blazer into the tarmac?

How many miles? Fuel pump could be going bye-bye. Changed the fuel filter lately? I have the exact same truck (color, too!) Have the fuel pressure checked at the the fuel rail. You need approx. 60 PSI to get her started. Even if you can hear the fuel pump spin up when you insert key and turn on, BUT not START, you may not actually be getting enough initial fuel pressure to get her going. Fuel pump failure (weakening) is VERY common complaint (especially if it's the original pump) and considering the age of the vehicle. New pump is approx. $275.00 at AutoZone. You'll need to drop the tank (no fun in that part of the job).
