Headlight removal

So is it correct to remove the headlight by completly backing out the adjustment screws or is there a better way than this

The headlights come out easy as hell on my '87, I'm not too sure about the newer models. I took a look at my buddy's '97 S10 and if it's the same as on a Blazer, the best way I could see is to back the adjusting screws all the way out.

all you have to do is take off the 4 screws on the metal trim ring and the light will fall out in your hand. no need to touch the adjusting screws or spring. thats if you have the sealed beam style which it sounds like. the other style, im not sure. i just found out there were 2 styles that year.
