Heat barely blowing..

So I notice todat that my vents hardly blow any air at all. The little that comes out is warm but it just doesn't come out as well as it should.
Any suggestions on what to look at 1st would be great.
It's a 2000 Blazer by the way...

If the 2000 is like the 2002 (and I believe it is) I wouldn't consider having the cut out a hole in the cover in front of the firewall to get to it, and then having to seal it back up "super easy", but I'm not very ambitious.

you must have scared it into working with all the cutting involved,lol. If it seems to be stuck in low or something like that then it most likely is the blower. Im pretty sure that when the blower resistor goes bad it the other way around you lose low speeds.
