Default Heat control

I fixed my floor heat problem by replacing the broken flap. It is so nice to have some floor heat. The problem now is that there is no difference in the Floor only position and the Floor/Defrost position. I realize I should have some coming to the defrost in the Floor only position but not exactly the same as the Floor/Defrost. I need more floor heat. BTW, my heat will cook ya. It works well. Just need more blower to the feet.

Anyone have a clue as to why this is happening?

When you replaced the damper did you check to see if moved freely, might be in slightly crooked ....just a guess. Sounds like it is not opening all the way for you on floorq only setting.

Default Floor heat

I fixed it

Ok, the problem was my fault, I installed the flap wrong. I didn't put the right side pin in the hole. I took it all apart again & have it right this time. A great big thanks to everyone for helping me.
