Question heated mirrors

does anyone know what turns on the "heat" in the power/heated mirrors on these 2nd gen trucks? can't seem to find a switch anywhere.

If it is so equipped, they are powered whenever the rear defog is on.

ahhh, that explains everything. the driver side terminal fell off my rear window the week i bought the truck, so i never used my rear defog.

all it took was the first day with frost on the window's to remind me i still haven't fixed that yet. also gave my wife one more reason to tell me to stop wearing my shorts, lol (didn't work though).

thanks Kyle.

I had the same question as you when I first found out they were heated lol. If you look at the little heat logo on the mirror, it actually matches the rear defog logo on the button.
They work some well though. I don't know what I ever did without heated mirrors lol.
