Heater/A/C question

I pulled it into the garage and removed the cowl and cleaned it all out wasn't much there made no diff. it is almost like the door that seperates the air from heat to cold is tottally shutting off but there is no way that could happen

There should be no way for this to happen unless the door (or a door) itself has somehow come loose...

And that is what gets me.... if the door were off some how then it would blow cold the hot or what ever depending on what corner i went around....This has really got me puzzeled so i went to walmart and got 2 12volt heaters and pluged them in for now untill spring when I can tear into this further
