Steroid Wagon is an unknown quantity at this point
Default Heater fan 95 Blazer

The heater was working for about an hour into my shift tonight, It then stopped and I had a slight smell of plastic inside. I turned off the heater controls. I tried to use it about an hour later and nothing worked. I popped my hood and checked under the disinigrating shroud to tap on the motor, nothing happened. I popped the dash face loose and wiggled wires and got no reponse there either. It was working fine on all speeds earlier. The fuse isn't blown because I got off of work early, went home to grab my meter to check for power and when I started my truck, it was working fine again. There has never been any noise, its been a quiet motor. What would cause it toshut down due to being over heated? where do I start looking?

I would remove and inspect the blower resistor. The problem may be obvious when you have it out.
