heater question

hello I have a 98 chevy blazer and have a problem with the heat when I turn the dial to off a little bit of heat still comes out and I can hear something moving under the dash like something opening and closing. any ideas what that is. I have the automatic climate control.

how much air movement are you talking about..
you are hearing the hvac doors closing, pretty sure its normal for a little bit of heat to come out, not much though. mine does this also, i just put it to the cold setting and i can live with it.

hey thanks for the info is it normal for them to open and close all the time even with the heat off.

They should not be moving if you have the fan **** turned to the OFF position... Sounds like something is going wonky with your ECC module.

yeah, sorry I thought you meant it was just making the noise when you turned it off, not continuing to make noises while off.

can you tell me where the ecc module is located, and is it pretty easy to fix. and is there another name for it I went to a auto website and can't find it no where on the site. I think I found it finally could it be called the air blend door actuator.
