Heater wire lead fell of rear glass, ok to solder?

I have the defroster option on my blazer and one of the leads for the wire heater things that actually run across the glass fell off. It was soldered on originally and I want to know if it's ok to solder it back on when the part I would be soldering it to is actually on glass. I know I'm not trying to solder this to glass
but I was thinking that it might have been soldered elsewhere and then attached to the glass when the car was made. BTW the rear glass is tinted.
I'm pretty good at soldering, I cando it fast so it's not like I'll be holding it on there for a while.
Thanks!

as long as you still have something besides glass to solder to it should be fine if you use more soldering wire. i had to do the same thing to my old grand am and it worked for me.

It should be ok to solder as long as the glass is not really cold. If it's a cold day and you're outside I'd use a hair drier to warm the window up a bit first.

Sounds good!! Just for anyone else that may come across this in the future, I believe there are some conductive adhesives that can be used for this purpose as well. So if someone either isn't experienced with a soldering iron or just doesn't even have one, I believe there are other options.
