Hello Chevy Brothers
I hate to be a new guy coming in asking questions right off the bat so please forgive me because I am in serious need of help.
Ok. the story normally I let my wife drive me around because my jobs requires way to driving . Anyway today I had a orientation today help with finding a job. Anyway I left the house I've noticed that we only had a little motor than a quarter tank of gas. Really only went about 5-6 miles. Made it to my destination fine. On my way back I've made it halfway home the " CHECK GAUGES " light Illuminated and shortly after my new ( used really ) truck cut off on me. The gas was practically on the " E ". Silly me, I must of ran out of gas.Called my sister up when to the nearest gas station and put about 7 dollars of gas in ( 3 gallons ). Thinking that was all she needed to kick over but NO. It cranks but no go, at certain points it feels as if she wanted to start but nothing. While questioning the wife if she's had any issues she stated no. Then she remembered that the oil gauge would sometimes be erratic. To add when attempting to start we noticed that the oil gauge doesn't budge reading zero. I am no where near a motor or gear head I have done things to previous cars.At stand still the pressure would drop and once truck is back into motion it would go back to normal. Please someone help and sorry for the long read.
