Help Delay in Start

Default Help Delay in Start

Hi there. Well i been having a delay in start issue as i turn the ing. all my lights turn on as normal but i will hear nothing few then it would start no clicking or nothing i have checked the battery and atternater they are all good i check to see if there was any losses wiring but everything is normal can the cause be the starter or just the solenoid or can it be something else am overlooking? Thank You

Could be the beginning of an ignition switch failure. See the link in my signature for more information.

It would help to know what you are working on.

Okay so i scanned the blaz and i have a P1351 code so can that be the problem? so just replace the control module or did something make this go bad?

P1351 - Ignition Control [IC] Circuit High Voltage

You can remove and test the ICM and coil. Remove it and take it to your nearest autozone, advance auto, etc. Have them test it repeatedly (at least 10 times) to get it hot.

As far as testing the ignition switch, you would have to probe each of the output wires from the switch, monitoring them as you cycle the ignition switch.

So i kept looking around under hood and found the positive cable that runs to the fuse box lose, i could move it side to side so i thighted that and turned on the blaz and my volt guage is at 14 volts no start delays as of yet hopefuly that was it. ill keep an update just in case. Thanks for the help!
