Help - I need some fuel line reference

I removed the intake manifold without removing the upper plenum. I had removed the fuel lines near the firewall and found that it was impossible to re-connect them without removing them from the top of the upper plenum.
QUESTION: On the picture I have taken, are the arrows pointing to o-rings at the top of the connector or is this just hard plastic and the lighter colored o-rings are further down, as I can see a lighter colored ring at the bottom of each? If these are o-rings, I have replacements; if not, I assume I should carefully clean them. This is my best day to do this (high of 61) and I don't want to be trying to remove an o-ring that isn't there.
