Default Help i think my blazer is dying

So today on my way my home I was going up a very large hill with my 2000 chevy blazer and it seemed to be having more trouble than other times. Well I got to the top and it the engine felt really weird, like it had a lack of power. The check engine light was blinking as well and every time i stopped it sputtered. Normally I would have pulled over and waited for someone to come pick me up but Everyone else is gone and i had no other way home but it was just 30 minutes up the road. Anyway now the light is not blinking but it still stuttering and feels like it has no power. any ideas

I would pull the codes first to see what system might be faulty. It almost always comes down to fuel or electrical. You could also get a fuel pressure test kit and check your pressure at the test port. You could have a faulty sensor somewhere. I doubt that your truck is dying but something is faulty. You could also make sure all your plug wires are attached properly. You can get most auto parts stores to retrieve codes if you do not have a code reader. I know Auto Zone has a loan a tool program where you can get the fuel pressure tester. When was the last time that your fuel filter was changed? Just a few thoughts and recomendations.

I only use AC Delco and do not have any experience with any other brand. I don't know if the Bosch plugs could be the source or not.

Yeah, Bosch seems to be kind of a weird company I've heard bad things about their spark plugs but I bought a set of their wiper blades and love them.

i bought some bosch plugs before i went ac/delco. and i changed just 1 spark plug and it caused a miss fire and a service engine soon light. i got that spark plug out and returned them all and went and got ac/delco and i haven't had a problem since.

Well to me it seems if the spark plugs are ok and the plug wires are bran new would it make sense for me just to replace the distributor cap of course i am considering changing the spark plugs to ac delco to but the only problem is that they where such a pain in the A$$ to change in the first place and the fact i don't know if they will give me my money back i have had them a little over two months
