Help with install of new turn signal switch
I am installing a new turn signal/multi function switch and can not figure out for the life of me how to get the plugs to come out of where they are plugged in under the steering colum. They definitly won't just pull out and I see no clips on them so please help me out.

RE: Help with install of new turn signal switch
I think I read somewhere around here there is a screw holding that plug in. (https://blazerforum.com/m_31117/tm.htm) Not 100 %your vehiclebut My 2000 also has a broken hazard switch andis going to be going under the same procedure (by ME!) verysoon. I tried to get the crooks at the local Chevy dealer to give me the part but they refused. They seem to think they're the only ones capable of replacing it and I'd rather pay for a new one myself ratherthan have those monkeys screw something else up. Real clowns at this place! Got one at RockAuto for $125 shipped.
You would think a recall of a defective part would mean either you or the dealer could replace it. It's basically plug and play anyway! Post back how you make out, I know I'd be interested! Good luck!

Recall work must be performed by the dealership due to the liability of the repair.
Yes, there is a bolt holding the connection together. It is in the middle of the connector. You may have to move the wires a bit to see it.
