It barely feels like any vacuum at all when i pulled that plug... does that sound right? Its very faint and doesnt seem like nearly enough to pull that actuator cable if it ever made its way up there.
Any tips on checking these lines? They seem like theyre in really tight spots and hard to get to. Seems hard to follow the lines and check for problem when theyre running up in the engine unless i pull the entire line and inspect that way.
Oh and i replaced the vacuum swithc yesterday and nothing came out besides when i pulled the plug. It wasnt really pouring out... just a couple drops wheni pulled the rubber plug.

Should be full engine vacuum at the connector on the transfer case switch. If not, then you have a supply problem and would concentrate on the vacuum supply side of things. It may just be quicker and easier to replace the line than mess around with it.
As far as the transmission fluid in the lines goes, I would still pull the fill plug on the transfer case to be sure. It is possible for a faulty transfer case switch to allow fluid into the lines, but you still should check.

It's a brand new vacuum swithc that i put in yeterday so it should be good. Oh and the same thing happened when i pulled the previous switch before replacing. I pulled the rubber plug and a couple drops dripped out. Unless its two faulty switches i dont think the switch is the problem. When you say "pull the plug on the transfer case" are you talking about the one that connect to the switch or is this another plug?
And about the vacuum lines since its barely getting any vacuum, which line should i concentrate on attempting toreplace? Correct me if im wrong, but once the three lines make their way up the engine bay, one line goes one way (to the vacuum) and the other twosplit and go to the actuator and vent. I should first attempt to pull the one that goes to the vacuum, right?

Yes, the vacuum supply line as I have stated.
And I am speaking of the transfer case fluid fill plug on the back of the transfer case. If you remove that and fluid pours out, you will need to pull the transfer case and replace the input seal.

The parents are not going to be happy if I open that and transmission fluid comes pouring out in their garage.... lol. Is this plug difficult to get to? Any pics of what I should be looking for? I'll search around old threads to see if i can find anything. Is this a problem i should be worried about or just something minor? Can any damage be done?
I'll work on this vacuum hose and go from there. Oh and thehoses.. is this something ill have to order from chevy or a chevy parts distributer orcan i just by thehoses at home depot?
Thanks a lot for your help with this... i really appreciate it.
