Helpful Threads - Submit them Here!!
We are trying to get a good list of threads together that will help to answer some common questions. If you find a thread that really helped you out, please post a link to it here.
I do not want to have this thread turn into a discussion on the individual threads or their merit, just a place to drop a link to a thread you found helpful.
Thanks for your help in making this site even better!!

Here's a link to a "no start" question that deals with the starter motor.

Say goodbye to stalling out @ low revs, or choking out/lack of power at high revs.
garry2000blazer's EGR VALVE CLEANING article was a big help for a common Blazer problem. So common it just seems like standard maintenance from what I read...(and I did A LOT of that)
https://blazerforum.com/forum/article-submissions-discussions-47/how-egr-valve-cleaning-discussion-thread-18901/
Its written for a 96+ blazer, but I found it was still a big help on my 95. Except on the 95 I needed to remove a large air duct connected to the engine, leading to the air filter, that was just above my EGR valve (sy for the noobish description).
Pay attention to the part by swartlkk about the pintle. Mine was would stick when fully depressed, it slides free and easy now after all the sludge I cleaned and knocked out of there. *edit* I've come to realize that this fix is somewhat temporary, but will get the job done while you wait for your new EGR valve to come in.*

Just found this while searching for something completely unrelated today:
GM Index Test Articles (4.3L, 5.0L, 5.7L)
It's a list of diagnostic testing on a lot of different things applicable to the 2nd gen trucks.
