That would be great so you had the same issue i take it to? Are you unsure where that pesky black hose goes too? This sucks suppose to be going to MN next week however if that black hose is disconnected like mine was youll hear the vacuum underneath the dash when the engines running that's how i knew it was leaking plus i lost brake booster power on the ABS braking everything was fine for me until i ran wires up there as well if it helps i ended up finding the black hose behind the plastic tubing for the small vent that runs underneath the steering wheel however i had the paneling underneath the stereo removed (like the one you have in your picture with the torque bolt thst panel had to be off to access the black hose) and it wasnt hooked up the end looked like a (clear)suction cup thingy :-)

Well I don't have any issues related to noise or brake booster control loss. The only thing I have is a very quiet hiss when I turn off my blazer, but I always thought that was just old HVAC lines.

Well if yours is disconnected stick your head up underneath the dash with the engine running and mess with your ac/heater controls youll hear it trust me however if its not leaking find that black hose for me with a elbow bend and a clear end PLEASE
it should be within the area of where you took your picture its not very long probably have to put your hand up there carefully to feel around

I'll be sure to let you know how to get in there. Tigger is running fine, but it seems like I find something else to replace/fix every time I look at it.
Oh well, that's life with a blazer I think.

Well I took the bottom part of the dash off to try to look at it and found that it would require a lot of time to get into where that hose is. I tried to feel around and I couldn't find any vac line back there. I found that my floor vents do blow air, it just isn't very strong.
I can hear a hissing sound when I turn on the heater, but not with any other setting. It's pretty easy to get this ^ far, but getting to where you could actually see the small white piece would be a major PITA.
I wish you luck, as I would not want to have to pull everything out to find the problem.
