Default HID 2nd Gen Install Question (DRL)

I have ordered an HID kit for my 1999 Blazer (9006HB4). It has the DRL's on it. How will this affect the HID's? Do I need to disable the DRL's somehow? What have you guys done to get around them, or do I just do nothing. I don't want to find out the hard way. Any input is appreciated.

the DRLs are the highbeams. so you will be fine if your installing the HIDs in the low beams

Thanks! Ya know, I never verified which beam it was. Has anyone here used the HID's in the high beams, if so, what about the DRL's?
I will be using the stock housing, so as long as it does blind oncoming drivers I am good to go. I ordered the 6000K bulbs. I will post pics of them compared to my OEM Escalade HID's.
