Default Hidden Front Receiver Hitch

Hi all,

I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions regarding the installation of a receiver hitch that could be bolted on to the front of my 1999 4wd Blazer with a 2" suspension lift (no body lift) that would not hang low and interfere with the front clearance?

I've found a few bolt-on receiver hitches but they extend below the bumper.

I'd rather have one that extended through the bumper and even out from where the licence plate is mounted.

This would allow me to use a receiver mounted winch on the front or back of my truck.

Thanks!

The only way to install a bolt on receiver up front is bolting it up to the frame. That said, you can always bolt to the inside of the frame and match the holes to the skid plate bolt holes, providing you have a skid plate. I don't think there is enough room behind the bumper for the cross section for the receiver, not sure. I can do one on my Blazer with no worries about the bumper but I have a 2" body lift.

You might want to look at a hidden winch mount. The are quite a few manufacturers out their making them now. Problem is you can't move it to the back like you can with what you are looking for.
