The light does not work on my 2002 Blazer LS 4X4.Do I have any options? The fuse is good.Is it necessary to just replace the whole light, or can it be fixed ? The local dealer here in Virginia is asking $152.00. Does anyone have a better source?

There is a relay for the high mount stop lamp. You really need to pull down the trim in the back of the truck to get to the wiring. Once you locate the plug for the CHMSL, then you need to determine if it is getting power. If it is not, then there is something wrong with the relay, wiring, or fuse. If you have power to the CHMSL, then the light is bad.

i have a similar problem but ive been too busy/lazy to pull apart the trim and see if the light is bad. there is a fuse and a relay so make sure you check both
THIS is my problem. the diagram says there should be a relay at the bottom corner but in my fuse box, there is no way of getting a relay to fit there
