anyone know where i can get one at? lol ... or what the gm part number is?
went to check my oil tonight and the hood was being held on with the prop rod and the passenger hinge. found the bolt, washers, and nut all just laying there. who knows how many miles its been like that, and wouldnt you know it as soon as i go to stick it back in, it fell down into one of the dark evil places where no hand can ever reach.
I would just use a regular bolt but i noticed that it had a piece that goes into the hinge to help keep it aligned or something... man this really burns my @ss.

just call your GM dealer-he'll know. It will be slightly over priced but I've replaced these b-4 on Blazers where someone used a regular bolt and nut and as you said, it needs to be a special bolt with a shoulder on it. good luck jp[sm=lol.gif]
