Default Hood hinge help

I purchased the washers from the dearlership. My question is it came with two washers and are they both for one hinge or does one washer for each hinge?

Not sure if this answers your question but here is my experience. Over the past few months, I noticed a thumping noise from the front end when I went over railroad tracks or speed bumps. I thought it was the front suspension (balljoints, etc.), so I took it to the dealer to replace anything worn out. They said the suspension was tight. The problem was loose hood hinges. They installed 2 washers in the hinges and that fixed the problem. So 1 washer per hinge was what they installed.

Hope this helps.

Yep, one on each hinge bolt. Put them between the hinge and the nut with the raised center towards the nut. This is a belleville washer which acts like a spring to put added tension on the joint without worry of relaxation over time.

I have seen some hinges where the owners have put regular washers which caused the hinge to wear and loosen up again. On those, I have had to use two belleville washers.
