Hood Latch
The hood latch on my 1995 Blazer will not hold the hood all the way, the secondary latch is fine. Anyone have any kind of drawing to show how it works??
Thanks

Hood Latch Adjustment
Inspection Procedure
[ol]Release the primary hood latch in order to inspect the operation of the pop-up spring.
Attempt to raise the hood while the hood is in the pop-up position.

The hood should raise without the hood striker binding against the latch.
-
The secondary latch should engage in order to prevent the hood from being raised. [/ol]
Adjustment Procedure
[ol]
Remove the hood latch mounting bracket.
Loosen the nuts that retain the hood latch support to the hood latch mounting bracket.
Move the hood latch from side to side until the striker enters the center of the latch assembly.
