Horn Fuse keeps blowing
OK Ladies, Gentlemen and Blazer Guru's I have a problem with my 97 4dr LT blowing the horn fuse.
Some background. I bought the Blazer back in December with 65K original miles and everything worked. About a month later I had to respond to an emergency call from my grandparents (my 93 y.o. grandfather fell and hit his head - he's OK). All the way through town I was blowing my horn and flashing my lights to get vehicles to move. Everything seemed to function till I returned home. That was on a Saturday night. On Monday when I went to get in to go to work, I noticed that the interior lights didn't come on and my horn no longer worked. I checked the fuses and sure enough the fuse was blown for the horn. I tried to replace the fuse and when I went to insert the new one it blew immediately. Suspecting a bad horn relay, I unplugged and removed the horn on the right side. I put in a new fuse and everything worked for about a day. I also found out that I had two horns (which according to my Haynes manual stopped being produced in 1996).
Now the horn, interior lights, power mirrors and rear glass hatch will not operate. I have disconnected the remaining horn, the power mirror switch and the interior light bulb and I still keep blowing the 20 Amp "horn" fuse immediately.
Can somebody give me a clue as to where to go from here? I can do with the interior lights (map lights still work) but the horn is a safety issue (new driver in the family).
Thanks in advance for all your help.

The horn relay is powered off of the CTSY fuse which also powers:
- Cargo Lamp
- Cigarette Lighter
- Console Courtesy Lamp, LF
- Console Courtesy Lamp, RF
- Dome Light
- Driver's Information Display Center
- Endgate Lock Switch
- Horn Relay (already mentioned)
- I/P Compartment Lamp
- Inside Rear View Mirror
- Interior Lamps Control module
- Liftgate Lock Switch
- Outside Remote Control Rear View Mirror Switch <--Check this out as I have seen them short out before and actually cause a small fire
- Remote Control Door lock receiver
- Sunshade Mirror Lamp, LH (if equiped)
- Sunshade Mirror Lamp, RH (if equiped)
any luck finding out why the ctsy fuse keeps blowing, I have a 1997 Blazer and I am experiencing the same problem, no horn, rear hatch, dome light etc. wont work. I attempt to put new 20 amp fuse in and it pops before I even get it in, any ideas or solutions you might share.
much appreciated
