Default Horn is not working.

So my horn is not working in my 1998. When I try to press the button I feel the wheel flex a bit, but the horn does not sound. How can I fix it?

I have visually checked the fuse and it looks fine, and I have tried swapping in the AC relay, but it still did not work.

Pull the horn out, see if you can swap it out with another from yard or new, the piece itself might be blown depending on how much it is used...

Might be able to try and hook up a small power source to trip it and see if it works... or a voltage meter should tell you I think...

The horn actuator on the steering wheel grounds the horn relay coil. When the horn relay is activated it provides power to the horns. So the things that could be wrong:

There is no power to the horn relay
The horn relay is broken
The horn actuator on the steering wheel is broken
The horns are dead
There is a wiring problem

I would start at the horns and work back. Is there power on the dark green wire(s) at the horns when the steering wheel is pressed?

George
