How do I get the actuator cable out of the Transfer Case

im trying to remember but the install is a little different...
i think it went. housing, then cable to clutch fork, because you can put the retainer spring on it first and when you finally put the cable in the spring will engage and hold into the housing..

I certainly hope that it goes alright, without additional problems. I hate not having 4wd. I'm not a mechanic, so I do everything slow & easy. That way I don't break anything & I'm able to remember how to put it back the way I took it off.
