How do i remove my washer fluid resovoir

Default How do i remove my washer fluid resovoir

I have a 97 blazer 4.3 and the easher fluid pump has gone out. how do i remove the resovoir?

OK to get the res. out you are going to need to remove your air intake so you have room to remove the two nuts holding it to the inner fender. disconnect the wires to your sensors in the intake tube. unscrew as if you were changing you air filter, twist off black plastic retainer and pull intake toward you. the retainer is right in the middle of the engine hiding behind the intake piping. next take the two nuts(i think, this is from memory) holding the air box down and pull up and out of rubber grommets. now you should be able to see you res. and get at the two nuts holding it in place. take them out and pull it straight up and out of the alignment holes. now just pop off your motors and lines to replace as needed. hope this helped. good luck and if you have any junk yard near you i would check with them to see if they have any blazers. i got 4 spare pumps for like $10 instead of $30 apiece at napa.
