On a 2001 the coil springs should not be wore out yet. If you went with low grade shocks they might be shot. That is why most go with VST, SkyJacker, or another higher end shock/strut. Longer Life

If you view it as sitting lower and the messurements show it to be true, you might have a different problem. It's worth looking into.
