Default How long do your FRONT brake pads last?

I have used MANY different brands, non last more than 10k miles average.

Yes I know its a heavy bastard, and NO the brakes are not seized, and NO I do not drive it like an F1 car.

I have had this piece of junk for over 10 years, but it just keeps going, thats why I like it.

Fronts may be doing all the work
You sure your rear drums are helping stop the car?
See if they need adjusted.

I get at least 50K miles on Wagner thermos quiet pads, all vehicles. Sounds like no rear braking or some front dragging.

Before I traded mine I had ~50% pads left at 60K miles.

My factory pads lasted the longest, around 60K, after that about 10K on the replacement ones. However my rear pads had 99K (90% thread) on them I replace them (Still have them a box, they sure fit my 2003 S-10 Pickup when I need to replace them) I got rid of my 2000 4x4 a yr or two after that..it had a short that no one could find..Now I have a 2003 S-10 4x4 pickup with 48K on it when I pick it up 4 yrs ago, now it has 52K..

The rears on this 99 Blazer are discs/rotors with the internal parking brake shoes.
I have had the vehicle on brake testing rollers, (for annual inspection), and both front and rear work perfecly with NO drag.

Factory pads sound great, but how was the stopping power?
And yep 10k on replacements, snap.
Rears have lasted about 50k and still going strong.

Had close to 85k km on my rear pads, still had like but a pin stuck, got them off Amazon, slotted drilled anti rust ceramic stuff.... cheap and well worth the price. Got a lift and im hard on my brakes to begin with.

Fronts lasted about 80k km before my calipers shot so I've never really been able to fully test them out.
