How many rubber brake hoses?

Default How many rubber brake hoses?

Hello, I just wanted to know how many rubber brake hoses my truck has in the rear. (1 or 2). I have drum brakes.

I would think one - between the chassis and the distribution block on the rear end.

I aint been under a 2nd gen in a long time but thats how it is on my 1st gen and dang near every other GM truck I've ever seen with a solid rear axle.

Ok, I'm wrong.. Three. I vaguely remembered a rubber hose when I changed a rear caliper so I went and looked.

only 1 on a truck with drum brakes
3 on a truck with rear discs
