Thanks, those are good things for me to chew on...sounds like replacing the PCM is going to require a little more than I'm willing to do with this truck I don't want to pay an arm and leg for the reprogramming, on top of the new module

Yes, both circuits do run through the PCM.

I have a 98 blazer lt 4x4 4.3l v6. Ok really need help on this because even my Chevy mechanic cant fix the problem. I have put in a new fuel pump and since then I have been getting a p1404 code. Along with the new pump I put in the following: I.A.C, M.A.P, P.C.V, E.G.R, E.C.M, all 3 o2 sensors and oil cooler lines. The I.A.C, and oil cooler lines were before the fuel pump everything else was after. I've cleaned out the E.G.R tubes from the the port with throttle body cleaner, have not taken more than the E.G.R off yet to clean them. Only thing left to do is that!

None of this started until the fuel pump was changed! I have read all these posts, I have an all data account and did everything it said. I am friends with a Chevy mechanic, and know several of the mechanics at that dealership and have done everything they said, the E.C.M was changed because I was not getting a 5 volt reference according to my friend it was only showing 3. When we saw that he unplugged the E.C.M and put dielectric grease on the connectors and the 5 volt reference came back but it showed a p0405 code then so we put the new E.C.M in cause of that.

I am now at a loss. My S.E.S light is on with a p1404 code again, it feels like it wants to stall unless I gun it, I have horrible gas mileage, and it doesn't have any power unless I put it to the floor.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!
