Default How to tell what trim package?

Hey everyone, im new to the site and new to s10s, im a mechanic by trade and ive already gained alot of helpful insight by this page, i have 2 questions though, 1st how do i know what trim package i have? Its a 95 s10 ls, but when i went to buy shocks it asked if it was a zr2 or zr5 and so on and i have no idea how to find out, 2nd when i bought it the truck was missing the entire air box i literally have nothing but an open throttle body. Ive tried finding these answers but havnt had any luck, thanks in advance.

The suspension trim level deal should be listed on the rpo code sticker inside the glove box, I think.

For the air box, S10s are a dime a dozen in a junk yard, just go grab one

Yes, the RPO code on the inside of the glove box will be your go-to place to learn of all of the options. There are places where you can have the VIN decoded with all of the RPO codes listed. Very useful stuff.

Search Google for a VIN decoder, some will provide full info on your vehicle for free while others want you to pay for the info.
Here's on such site ht tps://vpic.nhtsa.dot.gov/decoder/
