Default Hub Bearing O ring

My right side hub bearing did not have the rubber O ring on it. Is it imperative I get one for it or can it be reassembled with out consequences? I was hoping to get it finished today.

that big rubber ring that goes around the entire side of the bearing? no need for it, majority of all carrier bearings dont come with it. no clue what its even for, maybe to help keep water out or something. just put some anti seize or grease around the bearing when you put it in that should be good

It's probably not the end of the world to assemble without it. Just goop that whole area with grease or Anti Sieze so this hub wont rust to the Steering knuckle for next time you need to replace it.
I hope you got the job done last night as you planned

You are well on your way but it might help someone in the future when they SEARCH Front Hubs.
