Default Hub/Wheels heating up

Went to wash my truck yesterday and noticed that my front two wheels were getting pretty toasty after a short drive (more than usual). Could anyone tell me what would cause this? Both sides at going at once is kind of throwing me off.

Thanks,
Steve

Did you recently do brake work? It could be your calipers sticking. Grease the caliper slide pins and the metal shims they travel on and see if that helps.

Not for about a year, but I'll try it. Thanks.

It could either be sticky brakes or bad wheel bearings. I learned from experience that you will make a wheel bearing bad by not fixing the brakes promptly. Just a guess but the excess heat melts the permanent grease in the bearings which then also need replacing.

Mine was caused by bad brake line hoses.
