At 65 mph my 97 blazer hums in the rear. Also, When I decelerate it gets even louder. I am stumped on this one. I have noticed that it dog tracks to the right slightly... If this does help out.
Thanks!!

My tires are just about new but I need to replace them because there are some defects with them. There is gear lube in the rear end and I have replaced the U joints. I know that I need a rear end alignment because it tracks to the right. I measured it and it's a half inch off. I'm hoping that I will replace the tired this weekend for a better brand, Never goto Pep Boys for their brand of tired... I have had so many problems with them!

There is no aligning the back of a solid rear axle vehicle. It does, however, sound like an alignment issue. Check for "feathering" on the edges of the rear tires. They'll have to align the front, though, as that is where the adjustment is....when you say "tracks to the right" do you mean it goes down the road with the rear end farther to the right than than the front? If so, could be frame issue.
