Engine Shaking and Stalling
So this problem started for me last week, I was driving and got to a stop light and all of a sudden a felt a bit of a pull on the car. The Service Engine Soon light came on blinking. The engine it self was vibrating/shaking. I continued to drive the car and the shaking would disappear after I hit 30mph. Every time I would come to a stop, the shaking would be back and it sounded as if the engine was going to stall out.
The following day I took a look under the hood and didn't see anything wrong. After starting the car a couple times, the shaking disappeared and the light turned off.
Now today, I drove the car 2 miles, pulled into my drive way and the engine shaking was back along with the light. The engine stalled after I turned the car off and back on. I took the car out and drove about a mile, it would shake at any speed below 30mph. I also noticed that after letting the car sit for about an hour it would take a few tries before the car actually turned over and started. So far I've checked all the wiring and spark plugs and nothing is wrong there.
I'm stuck between a rock in a hard place now with this dang car. It runs good for a short time and then its another problem. I love my blazer, but at some point enough is enough.
Here's the work that has been done on it the past 3 months:
-New fuel pump
-New fuel tank
-Full Tune up
-All fluids replaced
-New rear axle
-New fuel cap
-Radiator Flush: 2nd one in 3 months.
-New spark plugs
**Car was not running for 6 years, so that's part of the reason why some of the work done on it was major.
