2001 ZR2. I just did the research here to isolate the "no 4wd" problem. My canister under the battery was in pieces. No problem. Replace and go. However, checking vacuum at the "T" by the main canister i accidentally pulled the hose that goes back into the HVAC system thru the fire wall. I CANNOT for the life of me find a port on the firewall to connect it to. Does it go thru the firewall an connect inside? Any photos of the connection available. It's only like a 6" piece of hose so can't go far. I worked on the under-dash hoses a while back but can't remember where the connection is. I DID spend some time looking for this info but the diagrams just show that it goes to the HVAC system but does not show the actual connection. This should have been simple but... Also, what is a decent brand for the vacuum canister? Thanks...

UM. DUH. NEVERMIND! It was the line TO the canister...
