i give up!!!!
i replaced my alt for the 3rd time... and i still have a voltage drop when i come to a stop or put it in gear... i have checked all my grounds and the wiring... is there thing i can possiably do???
Yea make sure your battery isn't old, no corosion on the terminals, you have proper cranking amps. I believe the alt has in internal regulator, so try these. I had the same problem with my 01 blazerso i put a duralast in it with 650 cca and it seems to be fine.
ya my battery has been tested multipul times and its cool... i think its 650 cca... the batt is 27 months old... it looks like it is brand new... ne other guess?? o and my batt is a mega-ton interstate
what is the RPM you are idling at? i work at autozone and i have seen many cars that get to idling to low and bring on a light, or the gauge go down, but the alternator passes the test we give it. check your idle, my 97 idles just under 600 rpm.
