I Killed It
I would like to thank everyone for your advice and help.
I gave up on my 95 S10 Blazer it has 151,000 miles on it and
with the lost screw banging around there is a very good chance of
severe engine damage.
I was tired of nursing it and I really did not feel safe driving
when my kids were in it.
So I traded it in on a 2005 Trail Blazer I got $300.00 for the
95 Blazer I told the car dealership about the screw lost in the engine
and they took it screw and all.
One of the mechanics at the dealership plans on fixing it up for his son.

95s aren't worth much. I traded in my ~okay~ running 95, almost two years ago. The lot gave me $1000 off the price of a 1998, as trade-in. I called the lot, a few days later, just to see how much they were asking, and was told $800. Again, that's almost two years ago.
but at the same time it all depends on were you live.. In Philly i was toying with getting rid of mine i got offered $500 ... however i was talking ot a salesman at the dealership I work at and got offered $1200 ... so gives you an idea
Not me! I "Dave'd" mine for 8 years. It was tired, and worn out, at 176,000. FWIW, my main issues were fuel injector stuff. I'd let my buddy do a bunch of FI stuff to it, and it still wasn't right. BUT, with ever declining value, where do you draw the line on pulling the plug? I KNOW that I made the right decision to take what I could get!
