Default I made an uh-oh while replacing my blower motor.

Alright guys so my blower motor has been acting up lately so I decided to switch it out with one from the salvage yard. So today I was working on switching it out and when I went to cut around the motor on the "cut here to service" line, I accidentally cut the hose going into the blower motor. So I need your help on this one. Could I just wrap the hose up in duct tape? Isn't it just warm air flowing through this line? Thanks in advance for your help!

Is it a small hose, around an inch or less wide? About 4 or 5 inches long? If it's the one i'm thinking of it just directs a small amount of air into the blower motor to help keep it cool. You won't do any harm by wrapping it in duct tape or something similar.

Yea it's a pretty small hose. I didn't notice how long it was but I think I'll try what you guys suggested. I'll let yall know how it works later tonight!

Ok I'm working on the Blazer now and I have one more quick question. Do you really have to put the plastic cover that you cut off back on? Cause I currently don't have any silicone on hand. Thanks guys!
