Talking i need work done on my 95 s-10 blazer

I just got this blazer and didn't know that it had problems, now I'm without a job and unable to fix it.
If there is anyone in phoenix that could help me out to fix it mabe we could exchange work? I'm an experienced glazier; residential, and commercial, work could be done in exchange. thanks for your help and God bless!

Old spark plugs//distributor/rotor?
How many miles on it?

My best prediction:Have you checked out the EGR-valve to see if plunger is stuck or carboned up?

Any rotten egg smells?(Plugged faulty Cat convertor)
Fuel filter could be old?
Is there any strong smells of gas?(FPR-fuel pressure regulator,$760 canadian)

I did change the spark plugs, although i have not changed the dis. cap rotor. the blazer has 153,xxx miles on it. and now that you mention it there was black carbon type/metal flakes on the floor that iI think might have came out of the tail pipe. I think might be a plugged cat. converter.

Martys,
If there is no 'rotten egg' smell, your cat convertor is 99% just fine.

Here's what i'd be doing when you have a few hours of time.Go to auto store, pick up new EGR gasket($2-5),take out EGR valve(pic),remove all soot/carbon,make sure plunger easily moves freely with no catching or binding, put in new gasket.
I think the only tool needed do this is 10mm wrench.
Keep in mind pic is ONLY to show where EGR is,you don't have to remove valve cover to get to it!
