here the story the last few months when i start my blazer up in the morning it would act like it was flooding like when a choke would stick on a carburetor this was when it was cold outside put by the time i would get out of my drive way like 150 yards it would clear up and run fine but if you would sit in park and rev it up it won't help to you put it in gear and move some.So i change the plugs and wire with msd and ac delco and the tps because i had a code fit it help for a little then it start back i check the cap and rotor they look fine i dont know what brand they are the person i bought said he had a another person do a tune up so here where it weird it warmed up here this month and now it start and idles fast around 1000 and if you tap the gas it goes up to 1500-2000 and stay to you put it in gear and then like before it run fine idle around 700 all day it only does this in the morning when first start up i did clean the throttle port and ics no help and then to day we had a heavy rain and the blazer stater to run like it was ruing out of gas and i would have to get on it to keep it ruing and by the time i got home it was ruing fine again and the rain had let up I know a lot of you are gone to say do a fuel presser check i was gone to do this weekend was just wondering if there was any thing else i need to be looking for are do maybe some hollywater and sorry for the long post didn't know how to make this short and any help would very appreciated this my only ride right know wifes trans took a crap and i figure if any body could help it here this is a great site and ive learned a lot a bout the blazer and before i go it a 95 4.3 cpi odb 1.5 4x4

Hi Hillbilly. The first thing that I would suggest is that you try using punctuation. You only used a single period for the whole thing. [/grammarnazi]

Ok, with that out of the way, another simple thing that can cause weird issues similar to yours is the MAF sensor. Have you cleaned it with MAF cleaner? Try unplugging it and see if it changes how the vehicle runs. The fact that the problem got worse with the rain makes me think of the MAF.

thank but mine doesn't have a MAF sensor it a cpi unit and went to rent a tester for the fuel but autozone & oralliy didnt have any in stock show have to wait so i guess I ckeck for any bad wires are vacuum leakes this thing act different every day to day she start up and ran fine no problem but it done this be for and then back to same old thing how do one act if the computer is gonging out

Yup your post IS kind of hard to read. I think first check for DTC. I bet you will see temp sensors, coolant or air temp.

yes was trying to do it on my phone the key on the pad get stuck and the things a peace of crap.Would the sensor that lewhite said throw any codes,because when I was at oralley had them to check for any codes and their wasn't any.The ses light never comes on only at start up like normal and it didn't even come on when the TPS sensor was bad.

i noticed you didnt say you change the cap and rotor. That may help with the rain thing. I thought all 95's had the MAF sensor. Check for vacuum leaks.
