I'm having some issues that I believe are related to my ignition switch, but I would like your feedback before I spend $150 on the part. Recently, my speedometer has stopped working and my transmission wouldn't shift out of first unless I manually shifted it to "2." At the same time, the ABS light and Brake! lights came on, and my power windows, heater blower, and map lights stopped working. The last couple of times I drove it, the transmission was working properly, but the windows, blower, etc. were still not working. Also, any time that I applied the brakes or pushed the window button, the ABS light came on, then the Brake! light, and then they alternately turned off.

Does this sound like the ignition switch to you? It's definitely something electric. Thanks for your input.

 

It is very likely that the ignition switch is to blame. $150 seems expensive for the ignition switch though...

*EDIT* I just looked it up and it depends on what you have I guess. There are two AC Delco PN per RockAuto.com, but only one PN from other aftermarket manufacturers.
