Default Ignition switch issues

I replaced my ignition switch this morning due to having a few issues where my truck would not start and the passlock system would activate. Now that I replaced the switch I am having new issues. i put everything together and the truck starts fine, now the issue is when I start the truck. I no longer have a working Speedo, Temp gauge, fuel guage, odometer, shift indicator, or ac. Does anyone have any idea what could be the problem? Now the shift indicator and odemeter do light up after I put the key in and turn it one set up. I followed the directions for lining up the key in the accessory position. Does anyone have any idea what the problem may be? Is the switch faulty or did I miss something on the install?

It appears Duralast aka Autozone brand cannot make a decent switch. I gave up and after cleaning off the main 3 buttons on my stock switch I put it back in.

No surprise there, if it says Duralast on the package, stay away. Even old AC Delco parts are better than new autozone parts.

I know. I figured they would have at least had the wiring right. Go figure I did not want to wait for the Delco part I would have ordered, and ended up paying for trying a short cut.
