I have a S-10 95 Blazer 4-door 4x4. If I fill the gas tank, I have strong gas smell in the garage when it is parked. It seems too smell fine under 3/4 tank. I have done a visual and I can't see any leaks. I put over 200,000 miles on it and I like it. Can anyone help me? Thanks retiredblazer

I've had gas spill out somewhere underneath near the spare tire when topping off the tank. Gas spilled everywhere !! What happened? Ever since I smell gas when tank is full and I stopped topping it up when filling but still smells.
Poster have you had anything similar?

I have had this problem before and I also got the evap leak code when the engine light came on(it took a real long time for it tho)
When the fuel was at half or lower there was pretty much no smell but i could smell it after filling it up.
I had a mechanic hook up a smoke machine to it and it ended up being a torn O ring as he called it which goes around the fuel pump. It was ripped. However this may or may not be the cause of your problem
